Cathy Miller, Au.D. is an audiologist providing hearing aids, hearing tests, ear wax removal, and comprehensive audiology services in New Albany, IN.
Dr. Miller founded Doctors Hearing Care because she believed people in the Southern Indiana and Greater Louisville area deserved a hearing health professional committed to their comprehensive hearing health.
Dr. Miller is a staunch advocate for early treatment of hearing loss in adults and recommends annual hearing testing for anyone over the age of 50. She sees patients day to day for hearing evaluations, hearing aid fittings, ear wax removal, and diagnostic services, and works with adults and patients ages 4 and older.
Dr. Miller has devoted herself for many years to treating not just adults but hearing-impaired children as well. She began her career at Kosair Children’s Hospital in Louisville and is a registered audiologist with the HAAP Indiana program, serving children with hearing loss from ages 3 to 18. She also provides special needs services for the Indiana Early Intervention Program.
Dr. Miller earned her Doctor of Audiology degree from the University of Florida. She holds audiology licensure in both Indiana and Kentucky and is a Hearing Instrument Specialist in both states.
She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and is board-certified by the American Board of Audiology. She is a member of the Academy of Doctors of Audiology and the Indiana Audiology Coalition.
Dr. Miller serves as a clinical supervisor for the University of Louisville Doctor of Audiology program and as chapter advisor for the HLAA Kentuckiana Chapter. She is a HearingUP provider and serves on the Policy Council for Community Action Southern Indiana.
Dr. Miller is a lifelong resident of Southern Indiana. Outside the clinic, she enjoys hunting, scuba diving, swimming, and traveling. She has two grown sons, Nick and Nelson, and is the proud grandmother of Lexie and Ava.
Her dog Stellar, a “snorkie,” a mix of miniature schnauzer and Yorkie, comes to work with her every day and loves visiting with patients.
